The new sensation of African cuisine is arriving in France through La Grande Epicerie de Paris!

The MOM KOUMBA brand is coming to the French market to offer gastronomy lovers an authentic experience of African cuisine. Mom Koumba sauces were born out of the love for traditional cuisine by four passionate friends: Louise Basse, Justine Basse, Jordi Pifarré, and Ivan Delgado. Their goal was to share the flavors of Africa through family recipes passed down from generation to generation.

Mom Koumba sauces are available in four flavors: Maffé, Yassa, Sakay, and DoroWat. They are made with natural ingredients such as peanut, chili, ginger, and garlic, which are typical of African cuisine. Mom Koumba sauces are perfect for accompanying rice, couscous, or pasta, but they can also be used for marinating or cooking meats, fish, or vegetables.

La Grande Epicerie de Paris is the first French supermarket chain to offer Mom Koumba sauces on its shelves. For Justine Basse, one of the founders of Mom Koumba, “it is an honor for us to see our products available at La Grande Epicerie, which is one of the most prestigious grocery stores in France. We are convinced that the French will appreciate the authenticity and quality of our sauces.”

Mom Koumba sauces have already been acclaimed by culinary critics in Spain, where they have been on the market since 2020. The brand has been featured in prestigious media such as LA VANGUARDIA. The brand is ready to conquer the French market with its unique flavors and exciting history.
