Africa lands in the HORECA channel with the first African hamburger.

African cuisine lands in the HORECA market with the first African burger made with Maffe Mom Koumba, a gastronomic proposal launched by El Club de la Hamburguesa Perfecta (Freak Burger Internacional – FBI Murcia).

Freak Burger International, a burger joint located in Murcia (Spain) and known for its great culinary creativity, has launched a burger with a base of our Maffe sauce that turns it into a flavor spectacle transporting you to Africa with the first bite. The KOUMBURGUER, in addition to Maffe, includes free-range chicken, tomato, Camembert cheese, fig jam, wild asparagus, and mushrooms.

AFRICAN FUSION CUISINE MAKES A STRONG ENTRANCE

We know that African cuisine is here to stay. Koumburguer represents the beginning of a new era where African gastronomy merges with other cuisines such as Mediterranean, American, Asian, etc.

Now it’s a burger with Maffe, and next, there will be other dishes; with the African Mom Koumba sauces, it’s very easy, quick, authentic, and high-quality to create dish bases with African flavors. For example, a pizzeria could launch its African pizza simply by adding a base of our Maffe, Dorowat, or Yassa sauces. In the case of a gastro tapas bar, it could offer “African bravas” with our Sakay sauce. Likewise, for achieving any other type of dish or tapa that one wants to innovate by fusing with African cuisine.

Mom Koumba represents an opportunity to differentiate in the HORECA market with all guarantees of success. These sauces have already been acclaimed by culinary critics in Spain, featured in prestigious media outlets like LA VANGUARDIA, and have been very well received in the French and Belgian markets, being already on sale in renowned places such as LA GRANDE ÉPICERIE DE PARIS or in many other delicatessen stores.
